Church replaced a small, dilapidated building they had been using for the previous 40 years.Funds were raised through efforts of Chris Robertson from Ontario, who travelled throughout Canada collecting donations. He secured donations of $10 everywhere he travelled, including riding a bicycle from Point Pelee, ON to Tuktoyaktuk, NT. In total, he raised $23,000. Also the fundraising campaign collected $300,000 from grants and businesses across Canada. In 2013, this church adapted part of their building into a wet shelter for the homeless. After 2 years of rising heating and electricity costs, and realizing that the facilities were inadequate and staff untrained to benefit the clientele, this project was terminated in June, 2015. In April, 2016, the pastor left due to mounting debt of over $100,000. Unsure what the current status of this church is. At date of the photos, the signage still advertised weekly services
