former-Hope-Evangelical-Lutheran-Church at Saint-John-NB, was first visited by J R Spurway on 23-Aug-2015. This place of worship has closed, however the last active congregation belonged to the Lutheran-Church-Canada, Christian denomination.

Originally known as Elijah Danish Lutheran Church. Named changes to First Danish Lutheran Church in 1947. Destroyed by fire in 1949. Rebuilt and opened in Aug 1950. Church renamed in 1966 to Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church. (2015) Closed about a year ago – recently purchased. (2023) Still showing cross on building on Street View.
