Site-of-former-Lancaster-Baptist-Church at Saint-John-NB, was first visited by J R Spurway on 23-Aug-2015. This place of worship has closed and been demolished, however the last active congregation belonged to the Baptist-Church, Christian denomination.

Originally called the First Baptist Church of Fairville, In 1953 it was renamed First Baptist Church of Lancaster, In 1967 it was renamed to Lancaster United Baptist Church, then finally to Lancaster Baptist Church. In 1969, the congregation built the Christian Education Centre on the adjacent property. In 2000, repairs and upkeep of the church were increasing and it was decided to close and demolish the old building and to worship in the CEC.
