former-Saint-George-Anglican-Church at Saint-John-NB, was first visited by J R Spurway on 23-Aug-2015. This place of worship has closed, however the last active congregation belonged to the Anglican-Church-of-Canada, Christian denomination.

This church was built in 1821 and held its last service on June 14 2015, a little more than 2 months before this picture was taken. The building sold quickly< the new owners planning to turn the church hall into a family restaurant and the sanctuary into a wedding chapel.
