This church was built in 1961. The original Kirkland Street Methodist Church was located at Kirkland and Waterloo Streets. The Carleton Street Presbyterian Church was built in 1869 at Bank and Slater Streets. By 1909 a larger building wasneeded to house the growing congregation.
