Built before it had a congregation, in 1832 Saint Paul Presbyterian Church congregation was organized. The Kirk was enlarged around 1840. In 1881, a new church was begun and the Auld Kirk was moved to the back of the property for services unitl Saint Paul Presbyterian (NB0920) opened. In 1885 the bell was removed from the Auld Kirk’s tower and installed in the new church. The building then was used for Sunday School for some 34 years. In 1916, the Auld Kirk was moved to its current location and repurposed as an apartment building, which it remains as today.
